At Roswell Mill, I did a really lovely session with one of my favorite families, the Ivey’s. We did some family portraits and Meghan’s senior portrait session mixed into one long, fun, and hot session. It was like 95 that day? So we kept in the shade and didn’t walk to far into the park!! That was enough for awesomeness. Some of these portraits were the brilliant Meghan’s idea for the poses, she found them on Pinterest and brought them to me during her portraits. What great ideas!! I loved the yoga seated pose and I placed it into that perfect spot on the Roswell Mill covered bridge, where the perspective reaches far into the past, a straight and perfect path towards a great future.
I loved the dress that she selected for her session: although sometimes, it is more classic to choose mainly solids for a portrait session, this small scale bright and cheerful pattern was beautiful with her skin tone. The bright pink colors really worked really well with her lip color and also with the green trees outside. And, obviously, the blue with her eyes!
Meghan, I hope you rock it at Texas A&M and that your college experience is all that you could imagine.
