We met Claire and Katelyn on a very hot Sunday afternoon. Claire was shy at first, and had never been photographed professionally before; however, Katelyn was a natural in front of our lenses and helped Claire come out of her shell. Katelyn and Claire showed us some of their toys, even invited us to a tea party! Window light is perfect and soft for portraits, and we were lucky to have a lot of it to work with at Claire and Katelyn’s house. Jessica and I both have younger sisters so we understand the dynamic bond between them. Claire and Katelyn were very loving with one another, and full of smiles and giggles. When we were finished inside we moved to a pond nearby, and Claire and Katelyn transformed into adorable little fairies, magic wands included! We took a nice stroll around the pond, noticing the fish, turtles, and ducks along the way. At the end of the session, we were all a little wilted from playing in the heat. Katelyn made the astute observation that the only remedy for our type of heat exhaustion was ice cream. We could not have agreed with her more!
A great way to display and share the images from your portrait session is with our portrait books. They look beautiful on display and are portable so that you can take them along with you to show your family and friends. The ten image groupings below are examples of some of the types of page layouts that we offer. We make all of our layouts by hand and specifically for you!
