By the time I steal away a minute to first sort and edit, and then create a blog post for my sweet baby, we are already a little ways past the current blog post I am writing about her. As she sleeps in my lap now, she has reached some incredible milestones over the last week. She is just over 4 months old as I write this, and yesterday, I discovered that if I place her on the couch to sit, she is totally fine. She just sits there! I had not been brave enough to try her out on her own before, but she was so nonchalant about it. Hey mom, can you hand me some toys? She is rolling on her side and has made it all the way onto her stomach a few times, she practices how loud she can use her vocal chords to talk and we are fairly sure she says both Hi and I love you (the syllables of that one at least, and she mimics it back!) And, today, while in tummy time, she scooted an inch forward, like she was seriously thinking about crawling. Not to mention she has teeth! And watches our every bite intently. I know you want to feed me that mom, yuuuuuummmmm.
So, looking back at these pictures of her not more than 2 months ago, is so nostalgic. How can it be that time flies so quickly, that such a little person becomes so much bigger each moment? But, anyway, more for my own chronicling that for your sake, here are those fragile precious months before she became a little baby, when she was still technically a newborn.
