Johnna Jeong was the guitarist at our wedding and her soft, impeccable style is a little latin, a little classical, a lot soothing and wonderful.    Johnna Jeong is one of my favorite players around town.  She was the guitarist at our wedding and her soft, impeccable style is a little latin, a little classical, a lot soothing and wonderful.    She is so beautiful in these images and has such deep expression.

For her music portraits, we shot in Grant Park,  across the street from the old cemetery downtown, near Six Feet Under.  There are great textures in this part of town, bright metals and we found this awesome car!  It the most perfect, obvious thing to shoot with.  But, I didn’t love it nearly as much at that metal wall.  Ultimately, the expression is what matters for me as an Atlanta music photographer, and this black and white portrait of her smiling makes me want to join her in her music journey.  And, so, I do.
